Film Writing & Directing

(2020-2024)

Description

Since 2020, I’ve been passionate about filmmaking and have worked to develop my skills in the field. To date, I’ve created six short films, most of which I wrote and directed. For some projects, I also took on the roles of DOP and editor, exploring different aspects of the creative process. So far, I’ve received several achievements, including official selections and nominations at various national and international film festivals. Currently, I’m also developing new film projects for my upcoming works.

Universitas Padjadjaran & Personal Works/Eyessence Films

Some behind-the-scenes documentation from my latest film, "Behind, Behind The Scenes: How To Take A Shoot?", showcasing various processes such as scriptwriting, table reads and rehearsals, storyboard visuals, and the camera and lighting floor plan.
Behind-the-scenes snapshots of activities like location scouting and the directing process.
Behind-the-scenes documentation of the short film "Sudah", which I wrote the screenplay for and directed.
Some exciting moments from the production of the short musical film "Kisah Suara Pramuda", a special musical presentation created for the welcoming event of new students at Universitas Padjadjaran. Here, I worked as the Director of Photography, directed several scenes, and also handled offline editing.
"Pamor The Greatest" is a documentary about besi pamor and the cultural transformation of blacksmithing, directed by my good friend. I contributed as the cinematographer for this project.
One of my early works in directing, "NO STEP" is the first horror short film I directed and edited myself.
These photos capture moments when I directed and shot a public service announcement about COVID-19 titled "New Normal". The entire production team consisted of my classmates from university.
Here’s a look at the storyboard I personally sketched for a short dark-themed film with a total runtime of just 60 seconds.
I always strive to create a fun and drama-free environment on set—that’s the kind of atmosphere I foster with my crew in every production I work on.
